Parking Information for Laird’s Academy of Martial Arts
Our new location at 175 Walnut Street is two blocks from Pacific Avenue. Parking is available at meters, at various free and pay parking lots, and for free in nearby 2-hour zones.
Meters: Meters operate everyday 9 AM to 8 PM. All meters take ParkCards, which allow you to only pay for only the time you use. More details available on the City Parking page.
- Blue Poles: $0.25 per hour. Blue poles are located across the street from Laird’s Academy on Walnut between Cedar and Center.
- Orange Poles: $0.50 per hour. Orange poles are located along street next to Laird’s Academy.
Parking Lots:
Free Lot:
Pearl Alley Parking Lot: Corner of Cedar and Lincoln Streets. It is free and is open 24 hours a day. It has a 3-hour time limit, Monday-Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Paid Lots: Provide pay-by-space hourly parking with a $.50 per hour/$5 per day rate, seven days a week 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m unless noted. Remember your space number and pay at any paystation or pay by phone with Parkmobile.
The Cedar/Church Garage at the corner of Cedar and Church Streets.
The Cedar/Cathcart Parking Lot located at the corner of Cedar and Cathcart Streets (location of the Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays).
The Calvary Church Parking Lot located next to the red Calvary Episcopal Church, at the corner of Center and Lincoln Streets.
2-hour zones: Enforced 6am to 8pm, Monday-Friday along Walnut and Lincoln street (Boys & Girls Club), between Center and Chestnut.
